If we buy Siteremote and host it on our own server can we disable the "Screenshot" option? My concern is that a customer could have credit card details on the screen at the time of the screenshot.

Hello, We are using certificate to secure our wifi network. The Android tablet is connected via wifi. After the installation of Sitekiosk the certifiacte storage gets deleted. So, wifi connection drops and cannot be set up again. It is required to reinstall the wifi certificate. Do you know about this issue? Can you reproduce the problem and is there an option to fix the issue? Using sitekiosk 8.9 I'm not be able to work with proxy when I configure only HTTPS proxy option. It seems that proxy work only if I configure HTTP and HTTPS proxy options. This happen when I configure it only in IE proxy options or in IE proxy options + Sitekiosk proxy options too. Can I make it work with only HTTPS proxy configuration? In version 8.8 it works fine. Thanks Best Regards

I have created a campaign that is 1920 x 1080 (the same resolution as the display that it is to be published to) When it is rendered on the monitor it i scaled way up. Only about 70% of the image shows on the screen. If i reduce the campaign resolution to 720p it renders on the display with a 3 inch black boarder around it. Please help.

I have the 30 day licence running on a test machine at the office. The goal is to run a web page 24/7. However, it seems to crash every few hours. This is the pattern I see in the log files. Printing through shared USB

I have two sitekiosk computers on the same network. Neither computer experiences network issues, or loses internet connectivity. I also have a printer - HP 1100 something - and it is connected to one of the computers via USB cable / direct print. The other computer must also be able to print. Currently I have the printer shared from one computer to the other, so that one is technically acting as a print server. The computer that is directly hooked up to the printer is able to print, the one that it is being shared to cannot. It does however work if I escape sitekiosk. It is only within SiteKiosk that it fails to print, and it only fails on the computer that the printer is being shared to. Networking the printer is not an option, due to topology constraints. Help very much appreciated! Thanks.

We have two kiosks that were configured under the same license and the configured password doesn't work to exit sitekiosk. When tested in run once mode it worked correctly but after set to run automatically it wont accept any password. I tried the general password and that also didn't work. How can we get back into these machines now?

I have an old PC that was used for testing kiosks for our client at AutoTrader. The PC is running Vista for Business and SiteKiosk 7. How do I go about disabling the software?

How to debug JavaScript for a webpage that is loaded from within SiteKiosk

Hello, My objective is to debug JavaScript for a webpage that is loaded from within SiteKiosk. When coding JavaScript for a normal webpage, I attach MS Visual Web Developer to an instance of IE7, which gives me the ability to break, step through code, view watched variables, etc. However, if I try this with a SiteKiosk page, obviously I get an error when trying to call window.external.InitScriptInterface(); Attempted to use MS Visual Studio .NET to debug SiteKiosk JavaScript applications 1. In *.skcfg set the following: falsefalse 2. Install SiteKiosk and Visual Studio .NET. Start both of them. 3. In SiteKiosk's configuration: a. Uncheck "Security > Access > Block system critical windows&dialog boxes b. Uncheck "Security > Access > Block system critical key combinations". 3. Run SiteKiosk using the new configuration where a specific webpage is loaded into SiteKiosk main window I'm running into the following problem, when attempted to End Process watchdog.exe in task manager, the task disappears for a brief moment but then it starts again. In lieu of step 1. I assumed that the watchdog.exe will not restart when deleted. Attempting to stop watchdog.exe from running so I can debug (single step) the javascript for a webpage in MS VS2010. In Visual Studio. Selected the "Tools > Debug Processess..." menu option. selected "SiteKiosk.exe" from the Available Processes list and clicked "Attach..." Debug for Script only and clicked OK. Observing on the right hand side of MS VS2010 debugger the list of the JavaScript files being used by SiteKiosk's *.html files, i.e. MainWnd.html, SplitScreen.html, TaskBar.html but not for the *.html file that was loaded into SiteKiosk page. Please advise on how to debug normal webpage's JavaScript and not SiteKiosk browser's *.html files.

Password for folder

Hello, Basically, there will be multiple folders within a drive. I want to be able to have outside clients access a specific folder within that drive without being able to access other folders in that drive, as they are private folders. I was recently able to map a drive so that outside clients would be able to view these folders in that drive. They were able to navigate through the ins and outs of these folders. I do not want that. I've also set a password to allow access to navigate through the Internet, but once that password is entered, users are able to access ALL documents. Is there a way to password protect each folder within that drive with a different password?

I have installed Sitekiosk on my Dell Inspiron 2320 with Windows 8.1 when the machine startsup it doesn't not automatically load sitekiosk. the start screen is at the Sitekiosk user name. Somehow, from what I can tell, the password is not working and allowing for automatic logon. Can you help? Also, I am unable to disable touch screen. I have looked on the internet for solutions but none seem to work. Do you have any ideas on fixing this? thanks Kevin hines
