We had made an online order for 6 licenses a few minutes ago. We need to use your software, for a congress that will start in a few hours.
Is it possible to send us a temporary license for this 6 machines until we receive our keys ?
It's not very usual after placing an online order, to wait for the next day to receive the software keys.

Cannot see the movie

A my client is testing your products: SiteKiosk and SiteRemote. It has the following problems:
such as digital signage, can not view the movies on SiteKiosk while able to preview them on SiteRemote.
Is it an IE problem on SiteKiosk?
Can you help us?

SiteRemote Registration
I'm having issues connecting to the SiteRemote server that I've hosted locally on a different server.
Here is the error I'm getting:
This request operation sent to net.pipe://localhost/SrcService/General/IClientRegistration
did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:01:00).
The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.
This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the service
was unable to send a reply message.
Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by casting the channel/proxy to
IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property)
and ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.
And these are the steps I've followed up till this point:
1. Installed all SiteRemote Server dependencies on a Windows 2012 Server
2. I've followed the instructions in the brochure to configure the SiteRemote server locally.
3. I logged into the portal through https://helios.inadev.local (Application root) and I created a team/user.
4. On a separate machine running Windows 8, I've installed SiteKiosk 8.8
5. From Configure SiteKiosk, I attempted to connect the client machine to the server with these settings:
Machine Name: W8SKC
Server host name: helios.inadev.local
User name: ******
Password: ******

Site whitelisting and blacklisting issues
I'd like to only allow certain pages from a handful of domains, but not all pages - as in, if I allow videos from youtube, or a single youtube channel page, I do not want to allow the rest of youtube to be available. The same goes for facebook, as well as a handful of other sites that offer social media pages. So far, I've scraped the sites I want for all outgoing links, and created a whitelist along with a blacklist file, which are configured within sitekiosk.
Is there any way to only allow specific subdomains on a site? The way I've tried configuring it so far has not given me the results I'd expect. Please see the attachment for the skcfg, log, and whitelist/blacklist files.

Resolution On Startup, DLL and Multi touch
Hello,
We are running into some issues when configuring your software. The software is GREAT otherwise and does exactly what we need. Great product!
Setup: Windows 8, 128gb SSD, Nvidia 760, Elo touchscreen 3201L, Loading full screen browser to compsole.com/Map
- After a reboot each morning at 4AM, the resolution changes to much lower than the default 1920x1080. I am forced to logout of site kiosk and then launch sitekiosk app once more and the resolution corrects itself to 1920x1080.
- I attached a picture of the DLL error we are also receiving after each restart. This is only during a protected reboot. Do you know how to get rid off this?
- I see there is some documentation on your website about how to get this to work. I must admit, I'm a little confused. I am loading the following website but using wordpress and don't know what I would need to configure.

More than one Login option
Requesting information if the SiteKios application can do the following:
• Can it lock down the machine to only access certain shared paths on the network (ones listed above)?
• Can we block all Intranet web sites, but leave internet open (relatively speaking)?
• Can we have the above restrictions placed for each machine on a user to user basis? Meaning User1 has restricted access, but User2 has complete access to the machine?

After auto login SiteKiosk doesnt start
Hi,
I'm having an issue with the auto login feature. When I start the computer SiteKiosk is login in, but I get a message that the password is incorrect. If I type in the password (which is the same as the auto login is using) it will login, but it will not launch Sitekiosk. It starts the apps page in win 8.
This happens if I have the ''disable any keyboard input during startup'' option disabled. If I enable it, it will log in automatically, but again just in to the apps not Sitekiosk.
If on the login screen I change to my admin account, Sitekiosk will launch.
Trying to fix this for the past two days. Any help appriciated.
My PC is a ASUS touchscreen with win 8.1,

Unable to use custom image on buttons with portal skin
I made some custom images to use with the portal skin (buttons). I use image of gif-format (8-bit, transparent). Selecting the images shows them in the configuration interface. In the website (portal) the default icons are shown.

Webseite wird als Source Code dargestellt.
Guten Tag
Wir haben von unserem Captive Protal eine Webseite mit welcher sich die Benutzer ausloggen können.
Nur leider wird diese nur mit dem Source Code dargestellt (siehe Screenshot).
Es kann nicht erklärt werden wieso diese Webseite so dargestellt wird da der Source Code verifiziert wurde und die Webseite in jedem gängigen Browser korrekt angezeigt wird. Erstaunlicher weise, wird die Webseite korrekt angezeigt, wenn man die Seite öffnet, danach eine andere Seite öffnet (zBsp www.google.ch) und danach mit dem Zurück Button wieder zurück auf die Logoutseite geht.
Können Sie sich dies erklären und haben sie eine lösung dafür?

siteremote connection problem with sitekiosk terminals
Server details:SiteRemote Server 3.9.5.808 (vmware server windows 8 r2)
(92-Month 2/22/2013 10/22/2020 50)
Terminals: SiteKiosk 2.1 for Android
Dear Provisio ,
we have already buy server siteremote 3 license and 21 sitekiosk 8 windows license and we have set it up with success the last 2 years.
This time we buy 26 licenses for sitekiosk android 2.1 and we try to connect with the same server through wifi with no success.
All ip's are in the same range with server and all network ports are open (8888,8086,5255)
At the android terminal in Sitekiosk settings we enter the ip of server and port 5222 (we tried also 8086,8888) ,enter username and password of Siteremote administrator;s user
But the request is rejected from server.
Can you please help us to manage connection.Is there some else limitation of Siteremote?

Installing drivers for wifi
Dear,
I am contacting you on behalf off a customer of ours which is Hotel Arena in Amsterdam. They have a guest Pc which runs you Kiosk software. The netwerkadapter of the computer has broken down, so I want to install a Wifi NIC.
The problem is I can not get around the Kiosk software to get into the normal windows environment. Can you please let me know how to get around the software and reinstate it when I am done ?

Windows 7 SiteKiosk 7 and 8 opening two windows from link
Hi,
When clicking on a link it appears javascript is opening a copy of the window along with the browser interpreting the link and opening it. Essentially we get the window opened in sitekiosk and the way javascript.

Wifi password
Does it have feature to lock down whole device but NOT the following WIRELESS and BLUETOOTH, basically the user should have permission to select the Wireless or Bluetooth connection and key in PASSWORD but user should have no access to any other Settings.

SITE REMOTE SERVICE NOT SHUTTING DOWN PROPERLY WHEN ATTEMPTING TO RESTART
After having a kiosk running for a while and then attempting to restart the kiosk will often hang for 15-20 minutes and then in the logs the following error will be displayed.
40 7043 2014-03-18 09:05:49 -0500 [Windows/System] [3/18/2014 8:53 AM: Service Control Manager] The SiteRemote Client service did not shut down properly after receiving a preshutdown control.

Edit Button Link URL
Hi
If I edit a "Button Link" the URL field is not displayed. Is this normal behavior?
The only way to edit the URL of a "Button Link" is to delete the button and add a new one. Is this correct?

File Manager synchronization failed
We're trying to upload a file to the clients via SiteRemote's File Manager tool but synchronization fails with error "Could not open Firewall of NAT"
In SiteRemote i found setting that says:
Define if you always prefer to use Http-Download mode instead of Torrent. In this mode all files distributed by the SiteRemote File Manager or DigitalSignage are downloaded directly from the Server using the Http-download method. Requires client versions after August 2011!
I ticked it but synchronization still fails. Now, we have SiteKiosk version 7.8.332 and i don't really know if this is version prior August 2011 or later ?
If this is too old version then the only way is to allow torrent port 52138 from firewall ?

Configuration
Can we remotely view and wipe the current application running on the sitekiosk screen and is it possible to add some application remotely and it will visible to our client on there system sitekiosk screen. If it is possible please tell me the whole procedure. Currently i am using free or unregistered version.
